He did his best to accommodate me he put me as far from the elevators on the second floor as he could. On check-in, I told the attendant that I wanted to be able to sleep, and I was concerned that door slams may keep me awake. I stayed in a Superior Non-Smoking room on March 11th - March 12th. Although it was a non-smoking room, I did detect a bit of stale smoke from some jerk who thought it would be fun to break the rules and spoil the room. There are no DVD players in the room, and the inside reservoir of the coffee maker needed to be cleaned it had a bit of dirt in it. If you like a very firm bed, you'll like the beds at Soaring Eagle. The soaking tub was huge and quite beautiful - it was fun to take a bubble bath in such a big tub that I didn't have to clean afterward! The bed was too hard for my back, but everyone has a different back. I came to sleep and use the spa services, not for any spectacular view. The room is very nice, but the view was just a parking lot. They were 73% occupied that night (I asked), so it was probably a bit difficult to find an ideal spot where I wouldn't be kept awake.
